First of all congrats for you great effort doing this essential DMS. Very very appreciated. And excuse me if you find several error. English is not my native language and here, in italy, there's not many occasion to use a foreign language :(
So, going straight:
I've notice a strange problem. Strange cause i think there is some problem to "my side" cause it's too obvious to be unnoticed till now.
I've created a demo structure and tried to upload some file inside.
The first file works good. Updating too. Downloading too, etc. etc.
Everytime i try to upload a second file, Xoda seems to isn't able to show me the file list again.
The file has been uploaded. I can check via ftp, but for some reason i can see it.
I've tried with nonspaced name (directory and file) and the problem is always there. I'm trying to look into the code. You write very clean code but i was spoiler by MCV structure and it's really try to follow the logical passage withing the index/function files :)
You can try the demo i've uploaded here: thecrius.altervista.org/xoda
Vers. 0.4.1
Tried updating to Trunk 49.
Off Topic: Never though to create some languages manager? If i can let Xoda works in this days i can take some times to make the needed modify for a language manager.
Ciao, Claudio! Your English is light years ahead of my bella lingua italiana. :)
I took a look at the account you provided. It is as you described but unfortunately I don't have any further explanation about that. I noticed that the server does not allow execution of system commands which affects many XODA functionalities. Yet it does not explain why the files are not listed. Is it possible for you to contact your provider and ask for assistance? It would be of great interest to see how to make XODA work in this environment.
There have been requests for multi-language support in the past too. This never came up to become a significant priority but I agree that this should happen at some point.
Thank you for your feedback! Cheers to Italy! (I really enjoyed Milan - Arsenal, esp. the first goal of Kevin Prince! :)
Yeah, I know how that is with the providers... If you need assistance with a provider, Dreamhost is really a good one and I am a happy customer of them for years now.
I hope that the Altervista team would react adequately to your email.
P.S. Italy is doing way better than Greece though. It will come out of the crisis but might get boats with Greeks like the ones with people from Albania (if you remember) in the past.
